BAYBAYIN CYBER is a Baybayin font family created by Filipino cyberpunk artist @luciusfelimus.nox themed around sci-fi and futurism. The idea for the typeface stems from the artist's vision to worldbuild a Cyberpunk Manila through different mediums of art.
The font is inspired by futuristic typography from dystopian sci-fi media including movies like Blade Runner and video games like Cyberpunk 2077. Angular, rigid, and geometric, this Baybayin typeface stands out from the rest of its kind by providing a stark futuristic contrast to the traditionalist approaches typically employed by most Baybayin typefaces. Its high-tech aesthetics make it an ideal font for neon signs, billboards, and holographic displays in a Filipino cyberpunk megalopolis of the future!
The font family currently has 3 fonts in total: BAYBAYIN CYBER, which is the base font; BAYBAYIN CYBER NEON, which is inspired by neon signage; and BAYBAYIN CYBER STENCIL which has stencil cuts.
According to Lucius Felimus, the font's creator, he wants to encourage more sci-fi and futurism in Philippine art, which is why the font is 100% free to download and use for personal and commercial purposes.
